At some point you have to give up on those shops and go to "tuner" shpps

Oh yeah for sure when my wallet supports it I have no issue with that. $120 per good alignment is a killer right now on me.

You get what you pay for. I understand your feelings that they should be able to create the specs you want, but you went to an everyday tire shop. They aren't trained to do set ups like that and probably have policies against straying from OEM specs. $120 for an alignment is a lot, but seems to be in line with the going rate at performance shops. That's what I paid 3-4 years ago when I lowered the accord and got the alignment done.
