...newer model out now. I was able to get my head under the bar, but only "just." The seats sit on little lumps on the floor, and it seems like a common solution for tall people tracking the car is "cut the lumps out of the floor."

There's like, 20 models now and the M1 is the tallest most serious bar.
Remounting the seat lower would definitely help, and allow for using some of the bars that mount a little further back, which also means they're a little lower. "cut the lumps out of the floor" sounds like a lot of work...
