Poll: help me pick new wheels for the X3

I don't understand what this recent phenomenon of people bragging about "built not bought" is all about. If someone wants to pay a shop to do all the work, whatever, it's his money. But don't turn around and claim that you busted your knuckles to put everything on the car.

That's the main beef I have. I guess it goes along with the supercar thread. If you've got the coin to spend on other people doing the work for you, go for it. But I think I'd have a hard time taking pride in something that, while it's 100% "cool," I didn't have any real hand in putting together.
