I get pulled over for my exhaust all the time. I just smile and tell them it was like that when I bought it. Haven't gotten a ticket for it yet. But then again, I have yet to encounter the harrisonburg pd.

No, it does not make it ok, it simply makes it easier for domestic owners to get out of exhaust tickets.
