Are the hoses ok? Neck at the radiator not cracking off letting coolant dribble down the hose? (speculating)

FM even makes helpful tools for the job including this little cam gear holder.
I almost did it on mine at JMU, but it was my DD and I was working at the time so I had Faul's on Pear Street do it. $250 or so and it was done in a day, if you go that route. But I think you could knock it out pretty easily.
