Personally, I say that if you can take a badge off without leaving a hole or a mark, do whatever you want. Don't take a badge off if it means leaving two goofy holes on your trunklid, or something like that.
My DSM was completely debadged. It was painted immediately before I bought it, and they hadn't put the badges on, so I told them to just leave the badges off, give them to me. I sold them for 30 bucks, and ran around Deep Creek looking like every other little DL Talon in town. If you couldn't tell from my exhaust, wheels, and the way I laid the smack on your ass, you didn't need to know.
I've debated about what to do with the badging on the supra. I mean, I can get a "2.5 Twin Turbo" badge from Toyota, but I'm not really sure I want it. I'm gonna take off the NASA sticker and maybe the TRD badge (since I don't have any TRD shits on my car) and just leave it bare. We'll see once I get it moving under it's own power.
