Well tonight was a fail at least I know my summers will fit with the Koni's. Was worried about the Koni's running wider than the D2's, but they don't just the same amount of few MMs of room still lol.
Got everything adjusted. Rear shock top mounts on. Rebound to 3/4's for the 10k rear springs. Then, I notice oh wait the rear shock bolts aren't long enough... Tried to run out everywhere was closed except Home Depot. Oh look they have 12x1.75 which I don't need. The rear shocks are from 1st gen mazdaspeed3's/mazda3's which ran a longer bolt due to a thicker mount. The aftermarket coilovers(like my D2's) and OEM suspension made for the 2nd gen had smaller lower shock mounts.... le sigh. So basically I am a rear Mazda3 suspension swapping expert now... Have to look for the lower shock bolts all tomorrow locally and if not order them online. They are 12x1.25 and 90MM long are the ones I need. Will look at a bunch of places around tomorrow (Ace, Lowe's, already looked at Home Depot, trucking places around, some rando car places in Hburg, whatever the fuck else, call Staunton Mazda, idk). Hopefully get this shit finally on Sunday night unless I have to order it... So, done with this.
ABS light is still on. Still can guarantee it is the right side. Cleaned sensor. Light still on and still does the noise when turning and 1/2+ in the brakes. If anyone knows someone in Hburg or near who can read ABS codes it would be great if you could send me in that direction. If not I'm buying a new sensor that sits in the arm behind the rotor. The wired part looks fine.
