Project 2.Slow Mazda3
Got around to installing the GC's. Everything went smoothly and took little to no time except I did not realize I'd need to use the oem top hats, mounting pieces, whatever you want to call them on the rear shocks. Multi-link suspension rear, MacPherson for the front. My D2 coilovers came with top mounting pieces, but these GC's did not so I guess they expect you to use the OEM ones. So, I have the fronts in and got the height perfect the first time. Rears I just had to put the D2's back on. Yeah I know, 2 different suspensions oh well for the time being. I won't be driving much and not too worried as the front rates are 6 and the rears are 4.7 with the D2's. I can do the rears in an hour or two by myself once I get the OEM ones from my parents.

Anywho, I can see why people like them. Fronts already feel awesome. They just soak up bumps way better. They just feel right compared to the D2's. Oh I can for sure see why people have coil bind issues on hard bumps the spring is damn short. Up in the air the spring does not seat 100% snug between the bottom perch and the top hat (had me lossed for a bit and scared, but the way the Koni's are valved I guess it would take a lot for them to reach that big of a droop I'd have to get a lot of air). 7inches is not really long enough (haha..), but I did not have any issues over some bigger bumps so they must be hitting some nasty bumps if they are having issues.

Also, ABS light came on and went off last night after a few seconds after start-up. Tonight it has stayed on the entire time. Fluid was right below minimum. Added some fluid. Light still on. Waiting a few days and if the light stays on I'll unplug the battery and let it reset. Still comes on after that I'll buy a sensor and plug it in and see which front side is going bad. Wires looked fine when we were working on so I'm kind of lost. Brakes look fine too. Haven't tried an abs stop and don't want to lol. Skid city.

Will be getting the summer wheels dipped in the next few weeks by Scott Stone since he is a nice guy with a plasti-dip gun. Also, will be going to Kaan's sometime to get the OEM BBK on and work on his integra so he can have it done by April Summit event.
