Disclaimed -- Never done any research on them, but when I do occasional CL searches they seem to be priced reasonably, capable of pulling an open trailer EASILY, and if you want the base model w/long bed... there seem to be a lot of them.

everything i could ask for in a truck. lots of little details done right that really make a difference.
spectacular engine, has been rock solid for me.
i think kbb on my truck is around 10k? maybe less? imo its a no brainer for that much $$ vs paying a ton more for an oil burner if youre not towing a house.
I wouldnt hesitate on the 08+ tundra either. never heard a bad thing about them.
the chevy trucks of that vintage, however, i heard tons of guys complaining about how much of unreliable peices of shit they were. ymmv.
