In your price range I assume you are talking about the LQ9. Basically a more aggressive cam, and compression bump. More expensive and heard its a bit more of a revver than the "torquey" 6.0.
A bajillion 6.0L were made from Denalis, to 1500 trucks, to escalade, to 2500HD trucks.
6.2L was available in many derivatives from newer Escalade/Denali to HO 2500s, to LS style camaros/vettes (ls3), to LT1. Gotta be specific which 6.2L you are talking about :wink:
I also don't see the Titan as a bad idea. More heavy duty than the old tundras that rust out and are super small, and not kidney busting stiff like the new tundras.
