FWIW I'm pretty content with the 21:9, 2560x1080 format, having used it for a couple days on my home computer (which Win7 and my outdated video card had no trouble identifying). A 29" would be ideal I think, similar to having two monitors. And when I mirror it on the 1080p projector for iRacing, scaling down to 1920 x 810 to keep the projector at a native width but 21:9 format, I've gotten rid of some pixels on the top and bottom that were busy drawing car interior and I don't miss 'em. I could/should have done that before.
