For the warranty that covers that, I was out by about 1,500 miles.... Something that I could probably be goodwilled (is that a word?) into. The only issue was with the snow and holiday, everyone starts to freak out, so the dealership was swamped with work. They were essentially double booking and just taking cars as they got to them. I was really pressed for time and needed something done, so that's why I took it into my own hands. Luckily it seems like it was a simple issue. The time it took me to fix this vs the time I would be waiting (if I was able to get in on Friday) was well worth it.
