I don't spend a lot of time at the track (or reading corvette forums anymore) so I'm a little surprised to hear about the oiling issues. I heard it about LS2's or 3's with slicks, but for the most part thought LS1's / LS6's were pretty reliable in that respect, up to a point of course. I did hear about the rod bolts, also decided not to do them for the same reason.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
