Well, when was the last time you hung out with the crowd? Or even drove one of these vehicles long term?
I'm not saying anybody's wrong, but lets think about this. There are a couple of late model Camaros at Mason that are quite loud which I see pulled over rather often.... not to mention that I can think of MAYBE 4 or 5 examples of these muslce cars AND trucks that you guys are talking about whereas I can think of more examples than I care to count of quicker than average japanese speedsters.
Anybody care to run the percentages?
How do you know they were getting pulled over for an exhaust that is too loud ? Maybe they were speeding, rolled a stop sign, etc. Maybe they were getting profiled... cop saw a spark in the window and thought they were blazing up a blunt. Maybe it's the cops we should be asking =p
In my opinion, the bottom line is that any cop who gives someone a ticket for loud exhaust (unless it's excessively loud and distracting...aka setting off car alarms) is simply bored and being an asshole. What a waste of tax dollars~
