Ryan is out autocrossing so no hate from me. Hopefully he keeps pushing, and small successes early on help the ego/boost morale to keep on competing.
Ryan, if you need any support you let me know. Your local SCCA autocross is just the first step. You mention wanting to try new courses, well Fedex lot in DC region is a decent lot and has GOOD competition. I have a guest bedroom that you are more than welcome to stay at if you want to come up and do one. If you coordinate right, I can also go to one and introduce you to the WDCR folks that are on top of their game.
That Silver/Gray Sti is David Wampler's car that he occasionally gets out in but mostly drives Martin Kriz's STi which is Wampler's car to the 11/10ths degree (I know you like 10ths :lol: ). I remember driving that car years and years ago, and we were going to do a Nationals STU co-drive together but he found Martin Kriz and I found Mike Lane.
Also, I know you are still new, but a National "Shootout" or "ProSolo" is good fun. It's pricier than a regular autox, but worth every penny. (and if you do well enough you earn money, I earned $400 and something bucks at the one shootout I went to). Keep it going bud! :thumbup:
