I question whether kids these days use "fifth" to refer to the same thing we did. To me, a fifth has always been 750ml of hard liquor. Like dis:

I can't think of anything that comes in a fifth that I would consider "low proof" unless 35% Jager is low proof...
I'm assuming they're having each team split one bottle, whereas we assigned one beverage to each participant, and if you use the 1.5oz shot standard, that's ~8.5 shots per person. So, probably not lethal but definitely enough to get your average college girl to Fuckedupville.
EDIT: Is that last photo a picture of David M doing a keg stand from a growler? What was he using, a straw? :?
