Welp, here's an obligatory turrible shot of turning 100k (I got it with 44k). Just about 4 wonderful years on the dot. So...56k miles, all while working from home. :dunno: [Image: 04d0284a78f917e3e5847bc96af10653_zps7947af77.jpg]

Took it down to Jacksonville for a wedding last week as its first long shakedown run after the Subframe Shenanigans of 2014. Car felt great, but had a slight rattle only 1) dropping below idle during takeoff and 2) when the car was warm...which hinted towards the exhaust.

I love actually finding the rattle I'm looking for. At some point that bolt backed out, and it was in a real awkward place to get it back in without moving the exhaust. Speaking of which, my now-perfectly-mounted exhaust tips might be just a bit too high - it looks like the exhaust might be hitting the heat shield that little bolt holds up, and that I'll have to drop it down maybe 1/2" at the tips to get ~1/4" more clearance at that point.

If that's the only problem I come across after taking everything behind the transmission out and putting it back in, I'll be over the moon.

//TODO:
  • VANOS exhaust cam hub and intake cam bolts to prevent the motor from asploding.
  • Rear chassis/subframe structural foam to finish off that nonsense.
  • CPV o-ring. That occasional spit of smoke/stank as it squirts oil onto the headers is getting old. Tried once before, but could not figure out an orientation to get a ratchet behind the headers.
  • New (leather) or recovered (alcantara) steering wheel. My leather was never particularly good and always beyond repair, but now it's getting nasty.
  • Refresh cooling system.
  • Re-examine and rebuild or replace front calipers before a track weekend.
Oh yeah, and it just got recalled. :lol: I get a new passenger side airbag or something.

And finally, gotta stop letting life get in the way and just get out to more damn events.
