I was happy with the Performance Friction Z-rated pads on my green 325i. It was a 99.8% street car (it saw VIR and Summit a handful of times for pace laps and like, six hot laps). They were great on the street, didn't dust all that badly (compared to BMW OEM pads, which are awful) and the couple times I really did use them, they were fine for some hot laps.
