I bought this color on a whim 4.5 years ago and ended up keeping it forever.
BMW had the best color choices in the 90s. Dakar, Technoviolet, Avus, Estoril, etc. I like the hellrot cars but it's a little orange-y, you don't notice it until it's parked next to an Imola E46. A few people have sprayed their E36s Imola and it looks ahhhmazing.
