If you wanted my personal opinion on them, from secondhand experience Tags are not as reliable as some of the other Swiss brands (such as the one I purchased from). On the high end of their series (Grand Carreras etc) I think they are too overpriced for what they are. They start reaching into Rolex / IWC / Patek territory, all of which carry a lot more heritage, build quality and brand strength than Tag Heuer. That is why all three of those brands hold such crazy high resale value.
On their models in the $1-3k range you're going to get a better value and a decent watch although still like I said not as reliable or solidly built as other choices you have at that price point.
