Can you really get an x5 for 9kish? The F-150 is pretty nicey that DJ posted...and someone on NasaForums is selling the same trailer I have for $1500..!

No, I just think trying to tow a civic with a set of tires (200lbs) + a pitbike (250-300) mounted on the a-frame of the trailer, getting you close to a 700-1000lb tongue weight is stupid on a small SUV with a 109inch wheelbase.

I would say a tahoe or yukon (since I loved mine, it was perfect with an open), but the pickup is soo nice now that I have one.

Avoid an X5, the transmissions are made to be rebuilt every 75k. German SUVs tow extremely well....but are uber expensive and unreliable. GM/Ford/Dodge know how to make a truck handle heavy duty without blinking.
