Actually, I think because I see nice cars on a rollback headed to the body shop on a regular basis, I'm less inclined to buy a nice car. It's kind of depressing, but in my line of business, you start to realize it's a part of life and cars are just a material possession.
Either way, that sucks. I know what it was like to back into a pole a few weeks after I bought my econobox. And then a year later when I hit a deer. And a year later when my ex-girlfriend decided it would be smart to run into the back of my car (why did I date her? I must've been mildly retarded for a few years of my life). At least it was (at least mostly) cosmetic I'm sure. I almost cry when I see the car of someones dreams with frame damage.
