Decided after the backbreaking labor of moving a bunch of stuff for my fiance into the house this weekend I would reward myself with one more watch before the wedding. I have been wanting a reasonably priced "doomsday watch" that I could wear everyday. Looked at a few of the Pathfinders before finding mention of this in the watch forums. Unfortunately the two "blacked out" variants that I want appear to be pretty rare (Asian-spec, never sold in the US) and the one I REALLY want is atomic as well as solar. Also unfortunately the latter is no longer sold or made. My boss actually has the solar/atomic version and is bringing it in tomorrow so I can check it out. He is putting some feelers out there to see if I can find it...if not the atomic only version is still an incredible watch:

Key features:
- Solar powered (6 months life with normal use and light exposure, 20 months in the darkness in power save mode)
- Altimeter
- Barometer w/ tendency graph
- Digital compass with various calculation functions and declination correction
- Sick Indiglo-style backlight for numbers when lit
- Low temp resistant to 14*F
- Thermometer
- Tide Graph & moon data
- World time (easy to swap time zones when traveling, not as easy as the atomic that automatically updates though)
- Water resistant to 20BAR (~652 feet)
