It was cool to hear Tom speak. I only remember a little, but I think he said they're going to be going back and forth between 3.2 and 3.4L S54 engines to see what works. Most of the World Challenge cars have been sold off already, but some of the buyers were interested in running them there also. The drivers this year will be Bill Auberlen, Boris Said, Justin Marks, and Joey Hand. He said that last year, they used the same motors for the entire season with the exception of Auberlen's - because he is 'aggressive', his needed a rebuild. 
That's all I remember - there was a lot to take in!
As for the CSL, it may have had some Alpina body parts (I'm pretty sure the 2002 had at least Alpina flares), but I think that front airdam is a one-off or something. I don't remember seeing it on any Alpina racers.
