as long as the motor and ecu combo are newer than the chassis, the emissions will be run as the motor year.

just add $1200 + for some good high flow cats. ive been really disapointed with the magnaflow "budget" high flow cats. they rot out in a couple of years.

Hmm, I will keep that in mind. My diesel
Runs no cats, my Gsx ran a magnaflow for inspection and seemed to work right.

There is also the tuner method to set readiness codes. Trying to do this on a budget, but we know how that goes.

i always ran the cat, not added for the inspection. aquiacow (my old roommate) used to get busted by the sniffer vans all the time. so i didnt risk it.
