So, I stopped at a Chevy dealer here in Norfolk because they had a couple of C6 Corvettes and 5th gen Camaros. I made the mistake of taking a C6 for a spin around the block. I say mistake because I am now convinced that my life cannot continue in the way that I want it to until I own a 2008+ 6 speed Z51. The one I drove was a 6 speed base with 45k miles for $33k. It was an absolute blast to drive and would make it possible to smile on the way to and from work. Not a stellar buy, and with a few more miles on it than I'd like. Plus they offered me $5,500 for the Camaro. I realize my car is most likely worth that on trade-in, so when the time comes to pull the trigger I will attempt to sell privately for a few thousand more.
