Big thanks to Joey, David, David and Cabell for the help tonight. We got the motor up on the stand so I can begin spinning some wrenches. Already pulled the (nasty) spark plugs and the exhaust manifold/heat shield. Did a quick test fit of my cheapo Raceland header...

I'm going to need to either block off the EGR system, or extend the little pipe somehow. The 99 system isn't long enough to bolt to the 95 header, and I'm not sure if the 95 EGR will fit right either. Won't know until I pull the old block and take it apart.
Good news is, several companies make block-off kits for $Cheap.
Picking up a crapton of OEM parts tomorrow in Arlington, then we can really get moving on this.
