Do college kids even care about cars?

"Kids these days" are so friggin jaded - it seems like they either think X is impossible for them to obtain so they don't care, OR X is so common around them that it doesn't actually excite them. Nobody takes the time to actually pass on their own passions to this generation, and thus it is lost.
