the way they drive in Turkey, there should be WAY more accidents. They drive that way due to the sheer volume of cars in Istanbul. The rest of Turkey is pretty tame to drive in.
Here, in an area half the population... most of the traffic is caused by people not being able to merge. I see it every day on my commute and its painfully obvious on the two lane sections of I-66. Merging onto the highway is a weakness of our drivers and that relates to their ability to change lanes in general.
They dont love their car, they dont care about driving or driving well, they would rather tweet/text/etc while driving.
