The 328i wagon would be the E91 body style and probably out of your price range (a decent MKV GTI is going to be a bit more than $10k too, for that matter) but an E46 325i wagon would be well within it. Those are pretty cool little cars, a lot of them were automatic xi's, which kinda sucks, but they still made a fair number of stickshift and RWD ones. I saw a pretty decent looking one on bimmerforums a few months ago that was a 325iT sport pack, 5spd, rwd with like 130k miles for $7k in really good shape.
Hm, I'll take a look around for those. So I guess it's really between: Subaru wagon, 325iT, and maybe some sort of tow vehicle if it can get good gas mileage. Another plus would be AWD so I don't have to worry about driving it out to West Virginia.
I say buy a fun daily, but if you want an AWD tow vehicle, Ill give you a great deal on my yukon denali :lol:
