Really? It is flat and against the frame rails and open in the center. I won't argue this anymore, but after using 2/4-posts and using my brother's scissor, I prefer the scissor in a personal home. If I had a 40x60 garage, a 2-post might make sense. Done engine/trans swaps on scissors and never really found them in the way, unless you get the portable ones that dont have the open center. I hated smacking doors/myself/tripping over the posts on 2-post lifts.
