a corvette, especially a c6 with the new Italian flava, has exponentially greater panty obliterating powers than a "yet another yuppie" m3 (that a girl probably wont think is anything more than a regular 3 series anyway)
but then again if we are relying on cars to get in girls pants, then we need a lot more help than just a car anyway.
and a bit of tech about the leaf springs: they allow for the rear suspension to be more compact, and hence the rear of the car is much more hunkered over the rear wheels and the cG lowered.
A spring is a spring, so there is no inherent weakness in the functionality or performance. The drawbacks of a leafspring is that they are harder to customize ride height and spring rates. 2 drawbacks that the corvette aftermarket has more than taken care of.
