MR2s are expensive. They're getting harder and harder to find in ok condition. I watched for MR2s and Turbo IIs at the same time. They're both similarly rare and MR2s are consistently more expensive. You won't find a decent shape NA for less than 4k unless it's the OLD body style, like the one I had

Look to spend 4-8k on one. You can get a turbo on the high end of that if you can find one...

The main problem is that these cars aren't deppreciating any more. They've hit their bottom line price which is high because of the way it looks. Are you looking at other cars too?
