As far as on the track, the GS500 seems a lot like the SV650...the Miata of Motorcycles.

I'm getting the vibe too, which is good for me because its good introduction into it all. I mean, I went on a ride with a few friends with gixxers, and they'd pull away in the straights but I'd get right on their tail in the corners. They were surprised I could keep up, and so was I, frankly.

And holy shit Joey, that's ridiculous. These engines can be pretty finicky, but I've heard people getting well over 100k on them before a rebuild.
