It is much more efficient if two people (or even more of the officers) work as a team to organize events, as many of them require too many details to be handled by one person. For example we can explore what happened at the car show this year. Simply put...the event was unorganized. Cody, this is NOT to be put entirely on your shoulders. There really should have been more involvement from the other officers (though I know each did put in a great amount of effort) in pre-organizing every little detail.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Dan and I have the view that VP/President will merge and become ONE role that BOTH Dan and I will fill (though he will of course have the title, power, responsibility etc of the president). What is Dan's responsibility, will be my responsibility. What is my responsibility, will be Dan's responsibility.
Expand this to every officer in the club. Each one of you should have a defined role (ex: the treasurer should know the most about the funds, the pr/sec should know the most about dealings with JMU), but you should all communicate fully with each other and to some extent all be a "jack of all trades".
In 2009 the officership (including myself) worked our butts off together as one. What did the car show look like?

All it is is early planning and organized communication. How would you go about creating an easy to follow, consistent schedule of events, and how would you get the message out?
