Project DD: 2008 Cadillac CTS 3.6 DI

All this talk of mudflaps made me remember I wanted to buy and install these, so I did! Had them painted while my car was in the body shop.

Harder to see on a black car but it definitely gives the car a better "widebody" look:




Bottom part of my chrome "grille" had to be removed after nailing a tire at 70mph. Still looks ok imo:


I was rear-ended (sort of, long story) and finally got my car back from the shop all fixed. Forgot how much I like this car after driving rentals for a week. Definitely needs more power, so I may end up doing a thermal TB spacer (apparently it makes a HUGE difference on these cars...the v6 camaros are seeing +20wtq) and I would love to do a full Magnaflow exhaust, but not sure if I want to justify spending $900 on it. Also need to buy the nav update, but it's another $200 (current version is from 2008 :lol
