Broken stud was replaced this past weekend (sorry Matt, no DE but delicious pizza instead). Big thanks to Jake/Joey and Kaan for lending a hand and tools. It was kind of a bitch, but a 5/16" grade 8 bolt and nylock nut took its place so I'm sure it'll hold up fine.

I also took the time to spruce up and fix a couple of nagging little things, in yet another round of "awesome 'n small" projects. The soft top latches and windshield-frame strikers (that they latch on to) were removed and sprayed with some Krylon Fusion black. They were previously all chipped up and faded...much better.

While I was out there painting, I dusted off the much-improved '01+ center console I had lying around and cleaned off all the 10yr. buildup of Armor All gunk with some rubbing alcohol, and finally painted it black with Duplicolor's prep spray and their interior "Vinyl and Fabric" paint. Came out awesome and looks brand new again. And, you know, its nice having a non-suckass center console that actually works.
