Yeah so this was a big fat fale.
I wanted an ipod to act as a "smart" hard drive for the G.E. but it turns out the one I acquired won't work. I'd like to trade it for one that will (broken screen = don't give a shit) or sell it. I'll add cash on my end, that's nbd.
Anyway, it works just fine, no problems, it just won't talk to my Subaru head unit and that's the whole freakin' reason I got the damned thing. *sigh*.
Here's what it looks like on der front:

And I covered the back with loop (soft) side velcro (for attaching in my car).
