Bad Omen

Before I even venture into this one,

If you think you're good enough not to hit a rooted tree, why aren't you good enough not to hit a 6" cone? oh, the cone won't do anything to your car. It's not a road barrell. People take cars much more expensive than yours out and don't see an inkling of damage.

The point of Madison Motorsports is to allow average people, like you and I, to get in a closed area and really test the limits of our cars without being able to damage ourselves, our cars, or anyone else. Please drive safely on public roads. This forum has seen its share of wreck pics, and anyone who's seen a video of a car getting folded around a tree (i have one if you want to see) won't drive 75 around a 20mph turn on public roads. I understand that you might want a thrill, or a "scare," but don't get it where you can endanger yourself or others.

Also, I would STRONGLY advise not getting an R6 until you're in your mid-twenties. Your need for speed will not diminish but your maturity and prudence will grow as you understand the dangers of the road more. I really wouldn't like to see one of our club members in a motorcycle accident.

When participating in motorsports, concern number one is safety. Please come participate in an autoX. I guarantee you'll get thrilled by your car again.
