DRIFTVALLEY- Oct 29th
#32
Totally understand man. Sorry to hear about the wreck, never a fun thing to deal with, especially the aftermath of the car/your body.

Well guys, we simply didn't have enough drivers sign up, so things had to get flipped around for DriftValley. Here's the message I sent out to everyone:

Due to low pre-registeration count, we have been forced to change the event so that we may afford to run the track for the day. The event will now be a semi-private test and tune restricted to 15 drivers. The new cost for this 8 hour stint on this irwindale-esk track, will be $120 for drivers and $20 per spectator.

Drivers:
The day will run as strictly a practice test and tune, so no competition will occur this time.

Gates now open at 10am, but we suggest you arrive by 9:30 so we can register drivers and square everyone up. When gates open at 10 we can start sending cars on track right away. We have to be off the track by 6pm, so there will be loads of seat time. Bring TONS of tires if you plan to drive!!!

Spectators:
The track day IS still open to spectators, however, the grand stands will not be open. Spectators will be limited to the pits as well as watching from the surrounding gate of the oval. Porta-potties will be on location. We're working with what we have, and this was the only way to make drifting still happen on this day. Spectator cost will be $20 for anyone entering the gate (one of our conditions to being able to run this track day still).

Let us know if you have ANY questions! Thanks!

So we were pretty much forced to run a day that's not very spectator-friendly being $20 and all, and the closing of the stands. But if anyone was interested before, it's still going to be an awesome event. Seat time for the drivers has doubled, and spectators would still have an awesome time and get to ride with drivers still as planned. I'll be getting to drift a lot more actually, so that'll be sweet.

Post up any questions you guys have!
