Some people apparently do install fuses. I was okay with just cleaning and re-assembling for now. Mainly because I didn't have a fuse within arm's reach of the car during the fix-it procedure :mrgreen:

Nope, I don't. I actually lost one of those posts for about 10 minutes this morning and had to consider my options. Speaker wire was one of them...
