Officially going pistol shooting for the first time on Saturday! My first outing got rescheduled because the range was too full when we got there. Also swinging by some of the good ole boy shops to try out some guns to buy. I read through the whole gun FAQ so I've got some good advice thanks to Rex, but is there anything else I should know before I pull the trigger (ha ha) on a new gun? Maybe a few suggestions for a good, reliable handgun?
I wanted to start with a handgun, but thanks to watching Sons of Guns and the wonderful advice of teh MM community, I want to also eventually own some kind of shotgun and an assault rifle.
