How about CC 9mm? Have we talked about those yet? I think that'd be next for me. A little larger and hopefully more fun to practice with than an LCP, more power, plentiful and cheap ammo.

I guess the Keltec PF9 is pretty much what I'm looking for, the "benchmark" here, being really light and super slim (single stack magazine) and reviews actually make it out to be decent. Trigger pull is apparently a bit rough, but as I understand it that's kind of par for the course for this type of gun.
The Taurus 709 catches my eye because the trigger's a little lighter since it's SA (normally) but has 2nd strike capability. I also prefer having a safety. It's ALMOST as thin as the PF9, and a bit heavier. And of course, there's a few threads out there already mentioning quality control problems, don't know how much weight to put in that.
Any other recommendations? I've neither shot nor held any of these little 9s yet, though I plan to.
In marginally related news, my brother got a S&W SD9 recently, the "new" Sigma I guess. Trigger's pretty crunchy, but other than that it's ok. I would like to end up with a better trigger than that.
