Glad someone bumped this thread 'cause I didn't want to go looking for it.
I just put on some Continental ExtremeContact DWS, replacing worn out summer Potenzas. Even with traction control off, I had a helluva time getting the car to break loose in 3". Tirerack rated them as "exceptional snow traction" but I expected them to be more along the lines of the PZero AS and Pilot Sport AS I had previously. I've never had a winter tire, so I can't compare, but if you're getting an AS check these out.
