well im not sure how long it is going to take for me to make the $5100 needed for the KO4 upgrade, so i figured i would do just that, burn out the KO3's and do the swap when they're gone....I don't want to say im a good mechanic, but i fix things as they break and i know my way around a car fairly well....i picked the car up for $4000 because it was popping engine codes and the previous owner got quoted for $3000 worth of repairs (codes were for -O2 sensors, catalytic converters, and a MAF). I started in the front by doing the MAF sensor and replaced a faulty throttle body boot, and it wiped the codes clean...Lucky right? listen to this..i bought the car with 109k on it, about 10k miles before i bought it she had fixed - alternator, Timing belt, and Aux. water pump....i added their repair records up for those items and it totaled over $3000....thats why it pays to know your shit about cars haha
