There is some meanness in here!!! I notice very little difference in the brakes (pedal feel) in my Sebring when I upgraded to Performance Friction pads and Powerstop rotors. The car stopped in less distance and had maybe just a touch better feel in the pedal. But ABS as modern as it is and the way brakes are designed as long as you have adequate fluid it shouldn't affect the pedal feel to much. But worn pads will cause an overstretch in fluid resources and that will cause a poor pedal. Cracked lines could also contribute to this, might check that out. Back on the Buick if the car is used to regular driving under normal circumstances I would buy AutoZoneÔÇÖs premium pads ($30) nothing more. A Buick shouldn't need $50 pads unless its like a Grand National (or you drive it like one )
