Can you still tell me how it upstaged it? It still LOST. The mustang was slower. Now if you want you can say well it was close, and is it worth the extra 15 grand for that extra tenth of a second I could understand. So it lost in the track comparison, it has less "feel" (although Pobst did think the mustang had better balance). So in track terms....the mustang still lost, but is it worth the 15k-25k? For track only, probably not, but then you start putting everything else in it, comfortability, ergonomics, sound system, luxury, options......oh wait maybe it is worth the 15-25k.

So to say it upstaged it, I dont see it. If one were buying for pure performance at that price range, go get that ariel atom, if you want pure luxury at that price range, buy a Lexus GS300. Both the Mustang and M3 are the middle-grounds attemtping to mix the two. The m3 can mix both better, but no shit, its more expensive, the mustang can be 99.99999999% of the track performance of the M3, not quite have the same feel and luxury, but at 25k, if track is what you want but still be civilized, its not a bad one either.

This is why I personally beleive that RJ and Mike are call this magazine wanking, you look at a few numbers and zero in, if you look at the whole package from a third point of view, you realize its not that.
