If / when you guys decide to buy the car and really get rolling with this, please send out a formal request for donations - I (and I'm sure a lot of other alumni) will be more than happy to throw a few bucks your way.
I'm also strongly considering doing this with my girlfriend (separately of the club effort) - it looks like this should be a ton of fun.
