The main reason I got it was to mount the oil pressure gauge sensor while still maintaining my stock sensor, so it doesn't throw codes on me.


One thing you must pay attention to however is oil level. Since it drains out of the oil filter now (and lines) your oil dipstick level will read "higher" than it should be. Meaning if your car speced 6.3 quarts, remember that was iwth the filter, and thats what your dipstick "indicates". However now that the filter "wont" be there for holding oil, the oil drains back into the pan, indicating higher

So if you fill it up using the dipstick now, when the car is running the amount of oil in the engine will be effectively less. So now you should technically overfill the dipstick to get the same amount of "running" oil.
