Maeng, the Mazda 3 doesn't have a goofy "H" on the hood.

Yeah but it has a big goofy grin that takes up the whole front grill. The first gen Mazda3 was a big step forward for compacts but the current gen is a styling disaster, not to mention it has gotten too heavy. The hatchback weighs 3000 lbs now!

Unfortunately I think light cars may never come back. We'll be telling our kids who drive 4000 lbs Civics how back in our days Civics weighed half as much!

I'd agree that the 2010 styling is awful, thats why we bought the 09. Mikey was talking about cars 3-4 years old, so it would be the previous style. And I dont know why the newer ones are so much heavier but the 1st gen is 2800 lbs.
